2. Follow the A30 dual carriageway for approximately 65 miles until you come to a roundabout signed left for St Austell /A391. At Stenalees go straight across the island down a road signed to Carthew. Follow this road for 3 miles; as the road passes through St Austell you will take a sharp right bend and after 200 yards you will come to some traffic lights. Go straight over these, and over the next set. This will bring you out on the A390, turn right for Truro and carry on along the road for a short distance.
3. Ignore a left hand turning signed to Polgooth and the Golf Course, and continue for a short distance until the road forks; take the left hand fork signed to Polgooth and Sticker.
4. After about half a mile, there is a sharp turn left to Polgooth. Take this road and continue down the hill for about three quarters of a mile - passing Woodgrove Park on right and Bosinver Lane on the left. Soon after Bosinver Lane take a right turn where you see a small white building with a large brown sign to ’Polgooth Village Stores and Cash Machine’ (opposite Stoney Lane).
5. Go along this narrow road to the ‘T’ junction, the village shop will be ahead of you; turn right, & continue a short distance along the road until you see Chapel Hill signed to your right. Hunter’s Moon is at the top of the hill, on the right hand side.

A38 route

At junction 31 of the M5 join the A38 for approximately 55 miles to Plymouth. Remain on the main road signed for Saltash and Liskeard and follow the road for a further 17 miles through Doublebois until you arrive at a set of traffic lights with a left hand fork signed for Lostwithiel and St Austell on the A390. Follow this road to St Austell until you arrive at a set of multi-traffic islands with the B3273 to Mevagissey signed to your left. You can either carry straight on following signs to Truro on the A390, following directions 3-6 above, or

1. Turn left towards Mevagissey (B2373) past a small retail park on the right hand side.
2. After about a mile, you will go into London Apprentice. Just opposite the Kingswood Restaurant there is a sign to the right, to Polgooth - take this road.
3. Continue straight along this road, it is quite narrow in parts but there are plenty of passing places.
4. As you arrive in the village, go over a small bridge, past the Polgooth Inn set back on the left and take the next left by the small antiques shop following the brown sign to ‘Polgooth Village Stores & Cash Point’.
5. The road is very narrow by the shop - continue for 100 yards and Chapel Hill is the next turning on the right just after the hairdressers. Hunter’s Moon is at the top of the hill on the right hand side.
