Hunter’s Moon Bed & Breakfast

All our bedrooms are en suite and guests have their own breakfast room which opens onto a large conservatory with lovely views across the valley. You will have convenient access to the house throughout your stay and you are most welcome to sit and relax in the garden if you wish.

We offer a choice of freshly prepared traditional English breakfast along with juice, fruit and cereals, or a continental style option. We can also provide vegetarian alternatives, and cater for special diets - these should be advised on booking. The Polgooth Inn is only a few minutes’ walk away and has an excellent menu, and there is also an extensive choice of alternative restaurants nearby, including the Hewas Inn which won the Cornwall Tourism Pub of the Year Award for 2006/2007.

• Decorated and furnished to a high standard, our bedrooms are either double or twin, and all are en suite, three with showers and one with bath and shower. Two of the rooms have super king size beds and the option of an additional bed to become a family room.
• Rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, TV, radio, fan, alarm clock and a hairdryer.
• Ample private parking space is provided along with secure storage for cycles.
• Hunter’s Moon is a non-smoking house but guests may smoke in the garden if they wish.
• Gift vouchers available on request, we can also arrange flowers, wine and chocolates for the room.

We offer a reduction for stays of over 4 nights. There is a supplement of £5 per person for stays of one night only. 

A deposit of £15 per person per night is required on confirmation of booking (by cheque sent to R Scott please). In the event of cancellation, this is refundable (less a small administration fee) so long as we are able to re-let the room - please also see Reservation Information.

• The third person rate also applies to children under 17 as long as sharing a room with an adult .
• We do not have facilities for children under 14 years.
• We regret we are unable to accept pets.
• We ask our guests to arrive after 4.30 pm; earlier arrivals by prior arrangement.
• On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate your room by
  10.00 am please.
